if no engagement follows: 1 year after the enquiry is closed; in case of an engagement, together with the case file for the retention period under the Hungarian Act on the legal profession (5 years from closing the matter, 10 years for certain documents)

Information shared in an enquiry is handled under the rules of attorney–client privilege. The hidden "botcheck" field of the form serves only to filter automated submissions and stores no personal data. The server keeps the IP address of submissions in memory for a short time (10 minutes) to limit abuse.

3. Cookies and browser storage

The site uses no analytics, statistical or advertising cookies and does not track visitors. A single entry is stored in your browser:

4. Embedded Google Maps

On the contact pages, the embedded Google Map loads only when you click on it or after enabling the "Embedded content" category. When it loads, Google LLC (Google Ireland Ltd. in the EU) receives your IP address and browser data and may set its own cookies. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Google participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Server logs

The web server may log technical data of requests (IP address, time, requested page, browser) for secure operation. Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in IT security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: up to 30 days.

6. Processors

• Hosting provider: 4bytehost (4bytehost.hu) — serving the website and forwarding form messages.
• E-mail provider: the provider serving the levaieszter.hu domain — receiving and storing messages.

We do not transfer personal data to third countries, except for Google Maps as described in section 4.

7. Your rights

You may request access to your personal data, their rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, exercise your right to data portability and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. We reply to requests without undue delay and at the latest within one month.

8. Remedies

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH; 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11.; naih.hu; ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu) or bring an action before the competent court.
