Rules governing the legal profession

The office's activity is governed by Act LXXVIII of 2017 on the legal profession and the regulations of the Hungarian Bar Association — in particular Regulation 6/2018 (III. 26.) MÜK on the ethical rules and expectations of the legal profession. The regulations are available on the website of the Hungarian Bar Association: mük.hu.

Practising law is subject to bar membership and professional liability insurance. The office holds the mandatory liability insurance required under the Act.
